Content | Learning objectives (Describe the skills the student is expected to have acquired upon successful completion of this course - maximum 3 lines): The aim of this course is for students to acquire competencies in wildlife management, including: Understanding the principles and practices of wildlife conservation and management. Developing skills in habitat management, population assessment, and conservation planning for wild animal species. Recommended prerequisites (Brief description of the knowledge required to take this course - Maximum 2 lines): Basic knowledge of ecology and conservation biology. Course content (Must indicate the detailed content of the in-person program and personal work): The content of this course covers topics such as principles of wildlife management, wildlife conservation strategies, habitat assessment and management, population dynamics, wildlife-human conflicts, and conservation planning. The course includes both theoretical and practical components, including fieldwork and case studies. Subject Content (must indicate detailed content of in-person program and personal work) I. Origin and Affinities of Algerian Wildlife Zoogeographic Regions on a Global Scale Origin and Establishment of Fauna Affinities and Current Zoogeographic Composition III. Importance and Valorization of Wildlife Heritage Value and Benefits (Scientific, Medical, Agricultural, Ecological, Economic) Game Fauna and Hunting Products Animal Breeding and Production: Frog Farming, Reptile Farming (Snake Farm and Venom Production, Crocodiles), Partridge Breeding for Restocking, Small Mammal Farming Production of Molecules of Interest and Pharmaceuticals (Venom) V.
