Content | Generalization objectives: This standard aims to introduce the student to the basic concepts, central terms of literary theory, and the science of beauty. What are the dimensions of literary theory in its historical path? It also aims to acquire in-depth knowledge of the aesthetic philosophy of Hegel and Kant and other positions and philosophies about art and beauty. Content of the course: Lecture vocabulary: 1- Introduction to the concept of literature, literaryism, and the theory of literature. 2- The function of literature, its meaning, and its relationship to other sciences. 3- The theory of literature and sociology. -4 The theory of literature and the generalization of psychology. -5 The theory of literature and the generalization of history. -6 The theory of imitation. -7 The theory of creation. -8_ Theory of expression. -9 The theory of reflection. -10 The theory of literary genres. -11 Expression in literature and the fine arts. -12 Adulthood Rhetoric and the eloquence of poetry 1-13 The eloquence of rhetoric and the eloquence of poetry 2-14 Literary theory in light of globalization Application vocabulary: 1-Selected texts for application 2-General applications 3-Selected models for application: Omar bin Abi Rabi’ah’s ghazals 4-Selected models for application: Khamriyat Abu Nawas - 5 Selected texts for application 6 - Applications on Aristotle’s theory 7 - Applications on Plato’s theory 8 - Selected models for application 9 - Applications from the realistic approach 10 Applications on the specificity of narrative and poetry 11 - Texts and models on the relationship of literature to the fine arts 12 - Reading In selected models - 13 Reading in selected models - 11 - Literature is a monster for the universe Evaluation method: Lectures are evaluated through an exam at the end of the semester, while the evaluation of directed work is continuous throughout the semester.
