Content | Teaching objectives: This standard aims to introduce the student to the concept of commitment in literature, as well as the forms of rejection and their manifestations in Arabic literature, in addition to the effects and echoes of major Arab issues in modern and contemporary Arabic literature. Content of the course: Lecture vocabulary: 1-Literature and society. 2-The concept of commitment in literature. 3- National trends in Arabic literature. 4- Forms of rejection in Arabic literature. -5 in poetry. -6 in story and theater. 7 - The June setback and its repercussions on Arabic literature. -8 At the level of form. -9 At the content level. -10 Major Arab Issues and Collections of Arab Literature -11 The Algerian Revolution. -12 The Palestinian issue. 13-R Liberation movements in the Arab world. -14 Arab unity. Application lecture: 1-Reading selected models. -2 Sartre’s texts for application. -3 Selected models for application. -4 Read selected models. 5 - Al-Mutanabbi’s texts as a model - 6 - Reading in selected models: Tawfiq Al-Hakim... 7 - Reading in selected models: Saad Allah Wannous... 8 - New political poetry - 9 - Ghada Al-Samman’s experience as a model - 10 Selected texts. -11 Mufdi Zakaria -12 Mahmoud Darwish and Ghassan Kanafani -13 Examples of the literature of the Arab Spring revolutions -14 Nidawa Models Evaluation method: Lectures are evaluated via an exam at the end of the semester, while the evaluation of directed workers is continuous throughout the semester.
