Content | Chapter 1: Analysis of the linear control of continuous systems (10 weeks) - Introduction to control systems. - Mathematical review (ordinary linear differential equations, Laplace transforms). - Mathematical modelling of examples of the Chemical process. - Analysis of the dynamic behaviour of first-order, second-order and more complicated dynamic systems (non-minimum phase delay .... ). - Study of the stability of a control system (Ruth Hurwitz criterion). - Performance of a control system (transient and steady state). - Graphical analysis of the dynamics of a system (Bode, Nyquist and Black diagrams). - Graphical analysis of stability (gain and phase criteria). - Techniques for analysing locus control (roots). Chapter 2. Synthesis of Linear Control of Continuous Systems (3 weeks) Introduction to P and PI control, phase lead and phase lag. Chapter 3: Notion on adaptive and predictive control. (2 weeks) |
