| Content | Chapter I: Soil: formation, properties and remediation - Soil formation, soil types, properties (physical-chemical-biological), chemical, physical and bacteriological analysis of polluted soil - Soil contaminants and pollutants: organic and inorganic (characteristics and properties) - Implementation techniques and regulations Chapter II: Physico-chemical methods Soil washing (leaching) - Oxidation and chemical reduction - Stabilisation/solidification - Venting - Containment (by covering and sealing, vertical containment, hydraulic traps). Chapter III: Thermal methods Thermal desorption (Pyrolysis) - Incineration - Vitrification, Chapter IV: Biological methods Phytoremediation - Dynamic biodegradation - Controlled natural attenuation - Biotertre - Composting. |
