Content	The first year program consists of two parts: Analysis and Algebra. The main objective of this module is to enable the student to master the fundamental mathematical tools to address some of their applications in agronomy such as statistics, hydraulics, economic calculation , optimization, etc. Efforts will be made to find a balance between the theory that is important for the correct assimilation of the courses and the direct applications of the concepts covered. The contribution of many examples in the course is fundamental for a quick understanding. Also, it is important to give a maximum of application examples at each stage of the course. The tutorials will aim to consolidate the knowledge acquired in class. Care will be taken to avoid complicated or relatively long exercises.
