Content	This module aims above all to situate the place of geology in the natural sciences and to adapt its interest to agronomic requirements. It will aim to give students, in a first part, basic knowledge of the basic knowledge of the formation conditions (birth – development) of crystals, minerals and rocks to lead to the processes of pedogenesis (soil formation) which proceeds by the alteration of rocks under different conditions and in a second part, notions on the structure of the earth globe by different methods of investigation, on structural geology in relation to internal and external geodynamics and on the stratigraphic scale of geological times based on the different methods of geochronological dating.
