Abstract

This work is dedicated to the study of the buckling performance of composites tubes under
several loading conditions. This study aim is to show the influence of structural parameters,
like the fiber nature and the fraction, the ply orientation and laminate sequences for
optimization study. According to this aim, we have made a study based on the simulation of
the behavior by taking into account the effects of these parameters, in the case of glass/epoxy
and carbon/epoxy composite tubes. The results show the buckling variation according to the
parameters values.
