Abstract

The control of the maintenance of the industrial installations, in particular the cost due to the implementation of the preventive policies is very interesting because of the increasing importance of this department in production lines. The objective of our work is to optimize the preventive maintenance of two mechanical systems, a compressor RI80-5 (system mono-part) and a crane MGHK (system multi-parts). For that purpose, we proposed a model of cost corresponds to the periodic maintenance with minimal repair in the failure policy and we mobilized the stochastic technique which is the genetic algorithms there seen to optimize the periodicities of the partial
revisions while minimizing the global cost. We compared the solutions of the genetic algorithm with those of the determinist methods and the results were satisfactory. The realized program was validated by the optimization tool supplies by Matlab.
