تتمتع رواية "ما تبقى من سيرة لخضر حمروش" ورواية "نوار اللوز" للكاتب الجزائري واسيني الأعرج بالاتساع والكثافة المكانية، وتعتمد على التاريخ والواقع، وعلى الذات ومخزونها من الثقافة الشعبية المحلية في تعميرها، حيث حملت الأمكنة هوية مرتاديها، وتوحدت في رحابها الذات الفردية بالذات الجمعية، لمواجهة ذلك الخواء الذي صنعته المرحلة الجديدة (مرحلة ما بعد الاستقلال)، فبدت المقاهي والأسواق والمقابر، محتضنة - بتعبير عبد الحميد بورايو – لمشاعر الجماعة الشعبية وقيمها الجمعية، ومعبرة عن مواقفها العامة، وهو ما سنعمل على توضيحه من خلال هذه الورقة. وقبل أن نشرع في ذلك نعرج على الإطار المكاني العام للمدونة محل البحث.
