This study deals with the accumulation of foreign exchange reserves witnessed in Algeria since 2000, which was the result of the large and unexpected increase in oil prices, which resulted in Algeria providing huge reserves of foreign capital, which exceeded the threshold of 250 billion dollars, but because of the low energy In this study we analyzed the most important implications of the movement of accumulation of these reserves on the main sectors in Algeria, where we found that many sectors benefit from the reserves that helped them to Growth, but the possibility of using these reserves in other sectors is still more cost-effective than that of the agricultural sector.
In this study, we also built a standard model for forecasting the size of foreign exchange reserves based on one of the artificial intelligence models, the model of artificial neural networks by comparing the results of a set of models and selecting the best ones
