Abstract
In the last few years, the language uses practices in the Fields of arts in Algeria (songs, comedy shows ... etc...) has been the subject of scientific research mainly in language sciences. In the same order of ideas, the work discusses the linguistic practices in the field of cinema, an art usually qualified as ‘visual’.
This work, indeed, focuses on two major films: The Battle of Algiers (1966) and Omar Gatlato Eredjla (1976), in attempt to analyze the linguistic practices at work in Algerian cinema and to measure the degree of their conformity with the sociolinguistic reality and the word of references.
Actually, in observing the characteristic linguistic practices of our corpus, we notice influences of the balance of powers dominations and exclusions. They, further, constitute significant indications to the social practices in Algeria.
