Abstract

This article explores the impact of distance education as a new reform in
Algerian higher education. It examines the benefits and challenges associated with this transition, analyzes the strategies implemented by educational institutions to overcome the obstacles, and offers recommendations to maximize the benefits of this reform. Ultimately, this study aims to provide a framework for reflection for policymakers, educators and researchers engaged in the continuous improvement
of the Algerian education system in the digital age. Our analysis includes two experiments. In the First Experiment We carried out a questionnaire composed of closed and open questions and others with multiple choices intended for teachers of the two French language departments: Souk Ahras and Annaba. The second experiment; This involves evaluating Master 2 students in Language Sciences for the 2023-2024 school year, with the aim of evaluating the impact of educational engineering on the quality of online teaching. The method chosen for this descriptive and exploratory work.
